Senior Cloud Architect

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions for a major financial services provider in the Netherlands. You will work closely with engineering teams to define architecture patterns, establish governance frameworks, and drive migration strategies across AWS and Azure environments.

Your responsibilities will include designing multi-region, highly available infrastructure, implementing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Pulumi, and establishing CI/CD pipelines that support rapid, safe deployments. You will serve as the technical authority on cloud decisions and mentor a team of six engineers.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of hands-on cloud experience, holds at least one professional-level certification (AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert), and has a proven track record of delivering large-scale migration projects. Experience with Kubernetes, service mesh architectures, and FinOps practices is highly valued.

This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam with 2–3 days per week onsite. BloomAI offers a competitive day rate, direct client engagement, and a dedicated talent partner throughout the assignment.
